I am very sorry that it is very late to inform you that
we will have meeting of the final report on our projects
as I told you at Superconducting planning meeting on June 11 at
Washington.

  The meeting will be held on Jan. 11, 2002 at Tokyo.

  We would like to invite you to the meeting as one of the specialists
in the areas and to ask you to give us as a commentator.

  If you can come, we can provide you a travel expenses (air ticket
(business class), accommodation, daily allowance) and a gratitude for
the speech based on the rule of Japan Society for the Promotion of
Science.

  Would you accept our offer and respond to me as soon as possible.
  Of course you need to be in Tokyo on Jan. 11, 2002, but you can add
your plan to visit some other place, such as research laboratories or
universities in Japan. Duration of your plan needs to be within a week.

Our project is entitled on “Fundamental Studies on Advanced Power
Systems by Application of Superconductivity.
  The final report written in English will be sent you around middle of
December.
  We need something for your visit as follows:
1. An estimate issued by an airline company.
2. A copy of the ticket.
3. your academic background. (graduation day )

  Now, we sent invitation mail to Prof. Hamdschin, University of
Dortmund, Germany, Prof. Hahn, Seoul National University, Korea and so
on.
